Overview

Bluefront Care Ltd is provides Semi Independent Living services for 16-18year olds whom we assist with essential skills that are necessary for independent living. Our organisation focuses on providing Supported Tenancy (Outreach), Floating Support, Solo Provision and Emergency Placement. We are currently an approved provider by various councils which include Northamptonshire County, Derby City, Nottinghamshire County and Cambridgeshire County Council.

We provide suitable accommodation with a support packages which we tailor to meet each young person as an individual in order to best support their specific needs as they transition to living independently. We do this by identifying their specific needs according to their Individual Profile, Pathway Plan and we utilisation of suitably qualified Key Workers whose aim is to holistically achieve outcomes which may include the following:

•       Good physical/emotional/mental/sexual health

•       Living in a physically safe, environment

•       Access to employment, training or education

•       Participation in the local community

•       Develop independence and money management skills

•       Move to own accommodation

Our Team

 

Our service is run by highly qualified professionals with years of experience of working with young people and committed to meeting the needs of young people placed in our homes. Our Key Working staff are qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 and are supported by experienced managers, who provide ongoing supervision and tailored coaching.

Given the important role that our employees play in young people’s lives, our fair recruitment process includes thorough background checks which include Enhanced DBS and referencing.

We ensure our staff have the correct mandatory training and provide additional training which enables them to work effectively with the young people placed with us. Our training covers topics such as Responding to Self-harm Issues, Conflict Management and De-escalation, Safeguarding, Working with Unaccompanied Asylum Seeker Children, Communication Skills and Equality & Diversity.
