Expert Social Care for 16+

What We Do

Bluefront Care is an Independent Supported Accommodation provider working with young people of 16 years and over, by providing services that are centred around supporting them to deal with issues that affect their young lives. We work together with them and Local Authorities to ensure the young people overcome their challenges and achieve desirable outcomes that prepare them for independent living and better futures.

Our Young People often come from the following backgrounds:

activity
Care Leavers

Our work with Care Leavers is aimed at supporting them to transition from their looked after settings to their own independent accommodation as an adult.

activity
Young Mothers

We provide new and expectant young mothers with safe and comfortable environments sheltering them from vulnerabilities which they may have suffered.

activity
Unaccompanied Asylum Seeker Children

We accommodate asylum seeker minors and provide them with shelter and support to assimilate to their new environment.

Our Main Activities

We provide a high standard of accommodation and a supportive environment delivered by our expert staff in collaboration with external organisations and professionals who we engage on an ongoing basis.

Our aim is to ensure that young people can develop and maintain respect, self-reliance and self-care skills as well as equipping them with skills to make informed, age-appropriate decisions concerning their present and future so they can achieve a successful transition into independence and adulthood. We work with young people who present a variety of issues including the following:

  • Moderate learning disabilities
  • Autistic spectrum disorder
  • Drug and alcohol abuse
  • Self-harming behaviours
  • Low level sexualised behaviour
